We believe that the way children are treated, and how they treat others in turn, is of paramount importance in making them good human beings and responsible citizens.
The diversity and qualifications of our teaching faculty, the innate curiosity and eagerness of our students, and the help and support of the community are factors that have contributed to the continuing success of Oxford International School for close upto years. Our committed and hugely talented faculty work as a cohesive team to accomplish the goals and objectives of our school. To this end, we focus not only on purely academic objectives but also on the child’s personality and emotional development.
Wrapped in our vision statement are these ideals and values: at OIS, we aim at making learning an enriching experience by providing learners with ample opportunities to excel, thus, shaping them into responsible world citizens. Our motto of ‘Aspire, Innovate, Achieve, and Excel’ is the cornerstone of our academic faculty and guides our day-to-day activities and endeavors. Curriculum Explained Although largely based on the National Primary Programme, the English curriculum has been developed by our own teachers to include components of Primary Years Programme (PYP). It draws upon our rich local culture while keeping in mind the academic expectations of the Middle and High School. This provides a strong platform for students to move from the Checkpoint syllabus in the Middle School to the CBSE, A and AS Level examinations as well as the IB, in High School.
